Who Gets Listed
We list instructors who hold recognized certifications from governing bodies in their sport. Self-described or uncertified instructors are not listed.
Golf certifications we recognize:
- PGA Member and PGA Associate
- LPGA Member
- USGTF Certified Instructor
- TPI Certified
- Trackman Certified
Pickleball certifications we recognize:
- PPR Certified Professional
- IPTPA Certified
- USAPA Ambassador
- PBI Certified
Tennis certifications we recognize:
- USPTA Elite Professional and Professional
- PTR Professional and International
- ITF Level 1 and Level 2
- USTA High Performance Coach
How Profiles Are Created and Claimed
Many profiles are initially created from publicly available information (teaching facility websites, certification registries, event programs). These profiles are marked as unclaimed until the instructor verifies their identity and completes onboarding.
We encourage instructors to claim their profiles so they can keep information current and accurate.
Reviews
Reviews are only submitted by students with a verified completed booking. We do not allow anonymous or unverified reviews. Instructors cannot remove reviews, but may contact us if they believe a review violates our guidelines (defamatory, factually false, etc.).
Reporting an Issue
If you encounter a profile that appears inaccurate, misrepresents certifications, or describes problematic behavior, please email support@bookgolflessons.com with the profile URL and details.
