Claiming Your Instructor Profile

Why Profiles Are Pre-Created

When we launch in a new market, we create starter profiles for verified instructors based on publicly available information — your name, facility affiliation, certifications, and general location. This means students can find you immediately, and you can claim the profile to take full control.

How to Claim Your Profile

1. Find your profile — search for your name on the site or browse instructors in your city
2. Click "Claim this profile" — you'll find this button at the top of your unclaimed profile page
3. Visit the claim page — you'll be directed to /claim/[your-slug]
4. Verify your identity — we'll ask for basic verification (your email, phone number, or facility contact) to confirm you are who you say you are
5. Complete onboarding — set your photo, bio, lesson types, pricing, and availability
6. Add a payment method — a payment method is required to receive new student referrals (you'll be charged a one-time fee per new student after a completed lesson)

What You Can Control After Claiming

Once claimed, you have full control over:

• Profile photo and bio
• Lesson types offered
• Pricing
• Availability calendar
• Notification preferences
• Payment method on file

Profile Not Found?

If you don't see a profile for yourself, contact us at support@bookgolflessons.com and we'll create one for you. Include your name, facility, certification, and city.

Privacy

Your phone number and email are never displayed publicly. Students contact you through the platform's messaging system, and you control which notifications you receive.
